JOHN MEYER
John Meyer, PhD, is the President and Principal Municipal Finance Advisor at his own firm, John W. Meyer PhD. In his role, John oversees the firm's operations and provides expert financial advice to both communities and obligated individuals.
Throughout his career, John has held various positions within communities, including development director, administrator, finance director, and economic development advisor. He has actively contributed to the growth and prosperity of these communities.
Additionally, John has a background in academia, having served as a college professor specializing in Community Studies. His expertise in this field has further strengthened his understanding of community dynamics and financial management.
John has demonstrated his proficiency in municipal finance by successfully completing the MSRB Series 50 and MSRB Series 54 examinations. He is duly registered as a Municipal Finance Advisor Principal with both the Securities & Exchange Commission and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, allowing him to offer his services with confidence and integrity.
John holds a PhD from South Dakota State University, and his academic excellence is recognized by his membership in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
